The Sunflower State

I made it home from Kansas safely but wanted to share a little bit more of what I did.My thoughtful son-in-law offered to take me to Liberty Jail. I was in heaven. It is about 1.5 hours from their home. I was so grateful to have this opportunity. My husband Ron was able to see it years ago with my son Matt. I was so jealous that they went but now I don't have to be!

After our visit at the jail we met Regan's parents at the airport and then enjoyed a nice dinner at a famous BBQ place named Aurthur Bryant's. I have never seen so much meet in my life. It was really good, and the company was even better.
This is Brooklyn with her three favorite girls; her mom and her two grandmothers. I was able to spend some time with Marianne, Brooklyn's other grandma. It was really nice to get to know her better.

Duckworth Family

Here is my one and only daughter, her great husband Regan, and their sweet little daughter Brooklyn.

Michael Mark

Adam and Michelle welcomed their third child into this world in March. Preston and Kailee love their new little brother so much. They are so sweet with him. Over the summer they moved to Dallas, Texas. It is so hard having them far away.

T-Rock

Brooklyn was the newest member of our family for only 7 days.
Matt and Whitney blessed our lives with another baby. Tanner Rockwell Vandermyde was born on Tuesday September 16th. We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet Tanner.
Here I am with my daughter, and three daughter in laws. Michelle in the black has a 5 year old boy, a three year old girl, and a 4 month old boy, Lindsay in the blue is expecting a boy in January, Whitney in the red had a beautiful little boy this past Tuesday, and my Daughter Annie in the Yellow had her little princess last Monday. I am being spoiled by all of these beautiful girls with the fun grandchildren they are giving me.

My newest grandchild.

This is a picture of me with my newest grandchild. Her name is Brooklyn Ray Duckworth. She was born on Sept 8th. She was 7 lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches. Last year her parents Annie and Regan were in Holland where Regan was attending law classes in Utrecht, Holland. Holland is were my parents were born and my husband's parents were born. My dad's family was born in Breukelyn, Holland. So that is why Brooklyn has her name.
Brooklyn is wrapped up in a blanket that I have been crocheting while I am here in Kansas enjoying staying with Annie (my daugher) and he husband Regan and my newest grandchild. As I am typing this my son Matthew and his wife Whitney are in the hospital in California experiencing the miracle of giving us another grandson.
This is me in Brooklyn's room. See the cute decoration my daughter made in the nursery with Brooklyn's name on it. Annie is very creative and the nursery looks great.
Brooklyn's first sponge bath. I'm in heaven. This has been a great time with my girls.
